Bespoke Gemstone Sourcing

Your Gemstone. Personally Sourced.

Finding an exceptional gemstone should be more than simply selecting a stone from a catalogue.

At TiliGems by Vivid Minerals, we offer a highly personalised gemstone sourcing service for clients searching for something rare, specific, unusual, or truly individual.

Our gemstone inventory is extensive, diverse and constantly evolving. Because we work closely with mining partners, trusted suppliers, cutters and gemstone professionals across key producing regions, new gemstones are continually entering our collection.

In many cases, the gemstone you are searching for may already be within our inventory, even if it has not yet been listed on our website.

Our online collection represents only part of what may be available at any given time.

New rough is discovered. New stones are mined. New parcels arrive. Exceptional gemstones are cut and added to our collection continuously.

So if you cannot find exactly what you are looking for online, simply tell us what you have in mind.

If We Don't Have It, We Will Search for It

We Will Search for It

If the perfect gemstone is not already within our collection, we can begin a personalised search through our international sourcing network. Our relationships extend to:

Mining Partners & Mine Owners

Direct relationships with mining operations in key gemstone-producing regions.

Independent Miners & Producers

Connections with independent gemstone miners and producers.

Trusted Rough Suppliers

Established rough gemstone suppliers with proven reliability.

Coloured Gemstone Dealers

Long-standing relationships with specialist coloured gemstone dealers.

Specialist Cutters & Lapidaries

Skilled gemstone cutters and lapidaries for bespoke cutting.

Laboratories & Professionals

Gem laboratories and industry professionals for certification and verification.

Where possible, we prefer to source as close to the origin as we can. This allows us to search beyond the traditional wholesale market and gives our clients access to gemstones that may never appear in a conventional retail environment.

From the Mine to You

From the Mine to You

One of the most special aspects of owning a fine gemstone is understanding its journey. Depending on the gemstone and how it has been sourced, we may be able to provide information relating to its:

Country or Region of Origin

Where the gemstone was mined, where available.

Mining Source or Producing Area

The specific mining source or producing area, where known.

Rough Crystal

Information about the original rough crystal, where available.

Cutting Journey

How the rough was transformed into a finished gemstone.

Treatment Status

Whether the stone is unheated, heated, or otherwise treated.

Laboratory Certification

Available laboratory reports and certification details.

Gemstone Passport

For selected gemstones sourced directly through our network, we may also be able to document parts of this journey through photographs, videos and provenance information, creating a unique Gemstone Passport and story to accompany your stone.

Provenance documentation is available for selected gemstones only, where available. Not every gemstone will have a complete provenance record.

Where a request involves an uncommon size, specialised cutting style, rare rough material or a gemstone being commissioned specifically for an individual client, a deposit may be required before work begins.

Any deposit, sourcing fee, cutting fee, certification cost, delivery terms and applicable return conditions will be clearly communicated and agreed with you before the order is confirmed.

How Long Does Bespoke Sourcing Take?

How Long Does It Take?

Every gemstone search is different.

Sometimes the right stone is already in our collection and can be presented almost immediately.

Other requests may take approximately 2–6 weeks, particularly where we are searching across different origins, arranging cutting or obtaining laboratory certification.

Exceptionally rare gemstones, unusual colours, specific origins or highly specialised cutting requirements may take longer.

At TiliGems, we would rather take the time to find the right gemstone than compromise on quality simply to meet a deadline.

Timeframes are approximate and not a guarantee. Every search is unique.

The TiliGems Difference

The TiliGems Difference

Our bespoke sourcing service is built around access, experience, provenance and personal attention.

With decades of experience in the coloured gemstone industry and relationships extending from mining areas through to the finished gemstone market, we are able to approach sourcing differently.

We do not simply search a catalogue.
We search our own collection.
We check new arrivals.
We speak with our mining partners.
We search available rough.
We consult trusted suppliers.
And, when appropriate, we explore whether the gemstone can be specially cut for you.

Our goal is to connect you with a gemstone that is not only beautiful, but one that has character, provenance and a story worth keeping.
