Our Treatment Philosophy

The majority of our gemstones are completely natural and untreated. For the small percentage that receive treatment, we use only traditional, accepted methods and always provide full disclosure.

Traditional Heat Treatment

Some of our gemstones undergo standard low-temperature heating, a centuries-old practice widely accepted by the international gemological community. This traditional method is commonly applied to:

  • Sapphires
  • Rubies
  • Tanzanites
  • Paraíba Tourmalines
  • Zircons
  • Other select gemstone varieties

Heat treatment enhances a gemstone's natural color and clarity without altering its fundamental structure or introducing foreign materials.

What We Absolutely Do NOT Sell

We maintain a strict policy against controversial or unstable treatments. You will never find the following in our collection:

Prohibited Treatments:

  • Beryllium diffusion (sapphires)
  • Titanium diffusion (sapphires)
  • Synthetic resin filling (emeralds)
  • Glass filling (rubies)
  • Extreme high-temperature heating for extended periods (rubies and sapphires)
  • Any other artificial element diffusion or filling

These treatments can compromise gem stability, alter fundamental characteristics, or create misleading appearances. We refuse to offer such stones regardless of market demand.

Full Transparency Through Certification

Every treatment or enhancement (or lack thereof) is clearly documented on the gemstone's certificate. This transparency is crucial because treatment methods significantly impact a gemstone's value, rarity, and long-term stability.
